Desiree Garza joined Midwest Hearing Consultants and Midwest ENT Consultants in 2008. She received her Oto-Tech (Otologic Technician) certification through the American Academy of Otolaryngology in March 2008. She is also a certified Nurse’s Aid and has a Medical Assistant diploma.  She is on the committee board for the medical assistant program at Rasmussen College.  She has been working in the ENT field since 2005 and has 11 years of health care experience.

An Otologic Technician typically performs audiograms, tympanograms, and otoacoustic emissions.  It is the responsibility of the Oto-Tech to cover ENT physician clinic and serve as an additional clinician when volume necessitates.
